The price on the flyer is for those areas not covered by HEE (London) funding and because it is the required format for the university. Of those 50 places, 30 are for those who wish to do the Work-Based module alongside the Masterclasses to obtain 15 academic credits at either Level 6 or Level 7. When applying, the nurses will need to specify which HEE London region they are part of for confirmation of funding. If they put an NHS trust down, the funding request will be rejected. Care Certificates
You will recall that the Care Certificate was developed following a review of health and social care support workers, and their training and development, by Camilla Cavendish in 2013. Designed with the unregistered workforce in mind, the Care Certificate was implemented to provide a structured and consistent learning approach to induction, ensuring that care workers have the knowledge and behaviours to provide compassionate, safe, quality care and support. (HEE 2015) Hence if you have HCAs who have not completed the above mentioned programme or other staff such as; receptionists who wish to train in a supporting capacity as a support worker. Kindly ensure that they are enrolled on this e-learning programme. This programme is also compulsory for HCAs or support works to enrol on the Trainee Nursing Associates programme (TNA) and a requirement that CQC inspectors will check. For further information and registration, please email Carmen Wyles at clh.traininghub@nhs.net |
