FCP/AP Roadmap Supervision and Verification Course

There are spaces available on the HEE two day Roadmap Supervisor Course running in the Thames Valley and Wessex region. These are being offered to those in London, attendees will be added to the London register after completing training.

The course is running on Friday 21st January and Tuesday 1st February.  Places are also available on Cohorts in February and March. Please see the attached flyer by clicking here. This contains details of how places can be booked. Eligibility criteria is also at the end of this email.

Eligibility Criteria

Who is eligible to undertake this course?

To become a FCP/AP Roadmap Supervisor you must meet the following criteria:

•                  • Be a registered Healthcare Professional who is Advanced Practitioner, a Consultant Practitioner (and hold a relevant MSc) or a GP. (GP Trainers who are also Educational Supervisors will soon be able to access a shortened version of this course via the e-Learning for Healthcare website and this will be advertised when this is available)

It is recommended that you commit to supervise a minimum of 1 trainee FCP/AP in the first 6 months after completing this course to consolidate the training received.


Fully Funded English and Math's Qualification

Central London Training Hub is pleased to announce its second cohort Functional Skills Programme to help staff that do not have their Math's and English qualification to gain this within 12 weeks.

If you have any staff members interested in obtained this essential qualification free of charge then please contact me so they can join our current cohort.  This will be particularly helpful to those HCAs who wish to access the Nursing Associate programme next year but lack their Functional Skills certificates.    


CQC Compliance Flyer Training Podcasts and Q&As

This has been produced in conjunction with the lead NWL TH for NWL Primary Care staff- please share with your PCNs/ practices. The  Podcast release dates are stated in the flyer where you can access via the link on the flyer. The expectation is that after viewing  the podcast, any questions should be  submitted in advance of the Q&A to the email address provided in the flyer. In total 3 Podcasts will be released and 3 Q&A sessions.
