The eHub model enables effective healthcare to be delivered to all 33 member GP practices with a small, dedicated team working on behalf of all the practices.
Our eHub is a centralised processing model of managing online consultations at scale. Using a practice based eConsult model, individual practices receive eConsults from their patients and these are first processed centrally for all. This allows a speedy review and the patient to be seen by the right team first time, for example direct to physiotherapy or community pharmacist. For eConsults that need GP review, there are sent back to the practice to be managed within the 48hour timeframe.
For patients, this can involve being seen by a clinician from your practice or being signposted to another appropriate service for your condition including self-help services. This reduces the time needed to get the right help.
Community Pharmacy Referrals (CPCS)
Our eHub can refer you to see a convenient community pharmacist, from whom you can receive an NHS Consultation (face to face or by telephone) with advice and treatment for a range of minor illnesses.

Should you need to be escalated or referred to an alternative service, the pharmacist can arrange this appropriately and quickly.
