Central London Healthcare is a group of 25 local GP practices in the borough of Westminster. The practices are located in an area that stretches between St John’s Wood (north), Westbourne Green (west), Soho (east), and South Kensington and the Strand (south). The practices are individually run but have all agreed to work together to share knowledge, experience and economies of scale. The aim of each practice is to provide patients with high quality, cost effective primary health care.
All practices undertake to ensure that patients can see a GP by appointment within 48 hours, a practice nurse within 24 hours, and be seen the same day as an emergency. Other quality standards cover issues such as child immunisations, influenza vaccines, and cervical smears.
