1.1 The Commissioners consider that the efficacy of certain procedures is such that they will not normally be funded without prior approval by the Commissioner. In addition there are certain procedures that the Commissioners consider should not normally be funded by the NHS. These ‘low priority procedures’ are set out in the table below:
