Over recent years, public healthcare in the UK has been transformed in a number of ways. The NHS strategy highlights that the hospital is not always the answer and that much of the routine care previously provided in outpatient departments should be delivered in community settings where possible.
Central London Healthcare is working with NHS Westminster to develop an extended network of localised healthcare services that will be focused on individual needs and choices.
This network wlll provide a real opportunity to improve patient access and experience by integrating and co-ordinating services through a single point of contact. The Central London Healthcare network will build upon and increase access to services already offered by GP practices and will provide more specialist, diagnostic and urgent care outside of hospitals. In partnership with NHS Westminster, CLH aims to provide as full and as comprehensive a range of healthcare as possible to the patients we serve.
Central London Heatlhcare's vision for transforming the delivery of Healthcare for Patients is delivered through the vehicle known as “Practice Based Commissioning” or "PBC".
